Polvi dug his own grave, to be honest.

Flag spotted and GE mentioned. I put two things together.

Well, t3xture and Monyet were on GE and I would say they did pretty well

GE put my boy t3xture on sentinel and Monyet on smokes when both of them shine on entry type duelists.

Yes Monyet did so good on raze this year, it was definitely better then his omen!

Both of them did great on those agent from individual standpoint. If Polvi was consistent enough, this would not be up for a discussion.

Yeah, joining a bottom-of-the-barrel team that designed the worst team known to man is not the play tbh.

bottom-of-the-barrel of a "Tier 1" team, it was better than staying at Valiant.
It was the play what're you talking about.

First of all, he was performing exceptionally well at Valiant (at the beginning of the season, EMEA was hyping him up so much), so he probably got better offers (hell, even if he did stay in t2, he probably would find a place to pay him more). From a career perspective, he was a top tier player at this point in time. Secondly, he probably saw the roster for GE before he joined, and seeing 3 meh shooters in one team is probably a mega red flag. Now, he's stuck in a sort of limbo since teams don't really want to try him out after the absolute stinker his team dropped. If he stayed at Valiant, he probably would have seen more success AND more career opportunities in the long run. Obviously, there is a lot of hindsight bias, but we can definitely say that this was not the play.

brother, he was in Valiant for a month, he played 6 Offseason matches, 4 of them were BO1s. So, switching teams in a month tells me he probably jumped on that offer. Why would anyone reject offer from a T1 team?

  • You earn more.
  • You play against the top players in the region.
  • You have more eyes on you.

Rejecting the offer would be more crazy, even if its bottom-of-the-barrel team.

facts, he is insanely vocal and a mechanical monster maybe orgs are done with "recycling talent" but these guys are good its not as if picking one of them up would ruin your team or anything

Polvi was a tier 3 bot lmao. Putting him on duelist in any tier 1 is a crime. God know how he even played well on some maps in GE. Likely due to the low tier competition in SHITPAC.

two decent players. unfortunately emea has a super deep t2 talent pool, as does apac. don't think na would be interested in these guys either. with apeks out of the picture polaris is probably their best bet

the only finnish player to perform well so far this year is derke and its not even close. I saw nothing special out of Polvi ever and jampi still has potential but his opportunity to show potential is over.
