verno is better than most t1 initiators in NA
skuba is the most underrated north american player.
wedid, brawk, flyuh, mitch, etc are all better than a lot of current t1 pros

but madas team definitely let him down against m80 so its hard to say

yeah I can see kaajak taking that spot just for winning but other than that mada was probably the most consistent player in NA dropping nukes every game (sad that the TSM game happened because they probably would've won if he had one of his average games)

Edit: Flor actually drops 1.6 rating in gc 😭 still 1.4 in tier 2 is insane

i´ve had mada on goat watch since lg when his raze gameplay was built different sadly he struggled when he started playing flex but he is better than ever now on full time duelist

This is such a dumb take cherry-picking the success stories while we've seen other tier 2 guys get rocked as soon as they enter tier 1. Bleed and M8 as a whole got rolled. Keiko was ass. Enzo was ass. Shadow was ass. Magnum was ass. Mistic was uber ass. Havoc, Hiroronn and Yoran were some of the worst players I've had the misfortune of laying eyes upon. Some guys are tier 2 because they belong there. Looking good in tier 2 is not some automatic sign they should be in tier 1

bleed had yay zest and sscary which are in fact franchised players or players who played on internationals magnum enzo and mistic too keiko wasnt ass he was above average same with hiroronn, yuran and shadow sucks ngl but thats the only ones and they werent even top of tier 2 in fact yuran was never a tier 2 player he went to zeta straight from the z academy which cant play on tier 2 thus he was tier 3 jp

Looking good in T2 for about 2+ years means you are good enough to play in a T1 ecosystem. Yes it has flaws but a lot of T2 talent proved to be one of the best players in the ILs and international events (example G2)

Bro hiroronn was signed to zeta because of his performance on sentinel role, he was forced playing initiator only to be allowed to play sentinel at the last moment when they were eliminated already.

Zeta gave him the wrong roles and now he's being cut unfairly..

talent wise (aim and crosshaire placement) most of talent T2 and T1 have a very small gap,
the difference is on game understanding meaning, map reaction they don't need IGL micromanage them ... etc

and on this there is a huge gap between T2 and T1, there is exceptions but only experience in T1 can make T2 talent VCT ready.
