Real Reason TenZ retired

He's currently being paid by riot to completely go streamer mode to bring back the viewership in Valorant, normie streamers average ~1k-3k viewers while this man pops open a stream and gets 20k+. Since Tarik is gone Riot needs a way to get Valorant back on the top streaming on Twitch and who else but the face of Valorant who just announced his retirement. Don't worry SEN fans he will be back shortly after Tarik comes back or whenever the viewership comes back.

All the viewers Tenz used to get were because he was competing and relevant in the scene. But now that he has retired, there will likely be a drop in his viewership compared to when he was performing on the international stage.

The majority of his audience loved him more as a PLAYER than as a STREAMER.

as a tenz fan, this is very much true, his viewership always drops significantly when not playing valo

That has nothing to do with him playing professionally tho. People love to see him play shooters, that's it. Just like Tarik's viewership dips when he plays variety. It just happens to everyone that doesn't play their main games regardless of their professional status.
