While i used to be a big fan of gambit and the russian scene in general. LOUD 2022, FNC 2023 and EG 2023 look far better. Redgar and d3ffo held that team back.

if i explained it to you, you wouldn't get it but ill try anyway. gambits playstyle in 2021 made them so dominate and was probably the most dominate team we will ever see because of constant meta shifts and insane teams we have today. most people think im saying gambit 2021 will beat fnc 2023 or EG 2023 when really i said was their peak/dominance was much better than any other team that came after them. I dont blame them though as much of VLR users don't have excellent reading abilities.

someone's peak isn't how dominant they are though? it's just how high their skill level is, at which EG/LOUD/FNC all clear at their peak imo
if you're talking about who was the most dominant, then yes Gambit will never be repeated because the game has grown to the level where the skill differential at T1 level is much lower than it was in 2021

Not really tho, Sure Gambit had some resemblance of dominance, but they were actively challenged even during their peak, losing to teams like like 100T, Acend, and almost KRU and Vikings who were about to beat them before that crazy comeback(still the best comeback btw), If you wanna talk about peak dominance, think about FNC Tokyo or SEN Iceland, while FNC is a was skeptic in regionals, they weren’t in Internationals, and Sentinels basically destroyed their region and didn’t drop a map in Iceland,But maybe I don’t understand you, after all English is my 2nd language

Bollocks take. Peak gambit got 13-0d by Acend, 13-1d by SMB, lost to 100T in a choke of the century. Nearly lost to Crazy Racoon.

They were good, but NOT glazeworthy good in 2024.
Fnc 2023 clears.

individually gambit were for sure the best team of their time and they would wins rounds they werent supposed due to clutched and insane plays done by all the team members
