I did that by emailing tons of betting companies
but it doesn't work because they don't wanna invest in something low scale and first real tournament of some Mickey mouse organiser

Its easy for school/collegiate level events to get sponsors (37 is still a very big number,so W for them) compare to the small community level tournaments

give them reasons to invest - show them that you will attract a large viewership, through either great marketing or having personalities play/stream or something, or just use connections

Start off with an entry fee to lessen the burden or just bleed money for a bit until viewership goes up (how exactly to attract viewership is on you)

once you get enough viewership, there'll be a couple organizations willing to sponsor you

god knows how tf the random ascendant teams I pug against on gankster get sponsors

Yes that's what the plan was
But few days ago I saw HyperX sponsoring a CS2 event by some newcomer Mickey mouse organiser in my country (even the top Indian teams were not playing in that event) and they were getting some 70-120 views not more than that

And I thought maybe I could do the same but I have been getting rejected by the every sponsor I have mailed

if youre a nobody you will probably have to fund it yourself tbh and then if it works out sponsors will help if they see an advertising opportunity
