TOP 3 at champs while having Aspas in your team and you have 0 players in the top 10 most assists, C0M is great and all i love him but you cannot be an initiator and only be decent at sova while being utterly garbage at everything else, my man has to play with 0 support and almost every map with no flash to help him entry, Aspas is truly the GOAT to perform in this kind of situation.

But ofc he will thieve when u have 3 people from SEN in top 4 avg assist. Poor aspas has to suffer with no help. Aspas on SEN would legit ace every round with all the util and help he would get from his teammates. Sad his talent is being wasted around mediocre players who only plays for their own stats and not the team. Its also why they have had a shit year. If aspas carries they win, if not they lose

it also doesn’t help the fact that they play icebox a shit ton and aspas doesn’t have any flashes as support (kayo or gekko would be so good here) to help him on that map

When I watch lev play, they entry off of committee where everyone seems to entry and get first kills. It is rarely Aspas taking the first engagements outside of his neon maps like sunset and lotus. Tex oftentimes comes up with more opening engagements than aspas. When lev win atk side its off of tex and mazino finding openings and when they arent performing they tend to lose out on atk side.

In contrast zekken takes virtually every opening engagement on sentinels which makes it easier to support him. Sentinels players have the highest assist numbers due to this playstyle difference.

I've concluded that while Aspas is an excellent player on ct side (probably the best in the world) he relies a lot on his teammates for opening engagements. When you have mazino and tex entrying they cant throw util to support. I think you have misconceptions based on the playstyle of lev. They play differently compared to other top teams and you cannot compare players off of assist numbers without taking into account playstyle.

Great mazino is the smoke player and breach on some maps and tex is the sentinel, you realize you didn't even mentioned c0m who is the initiator that is supposed to be the support?
If tex and mazino are taking the first kills c0m should be supporting them right? Wrong he is not.
This thread is not about aspas playstyle or some shit like that read everything again and you will understand, our smoke player is the entry and the support at the same time?????
