which team ACTUALLY had the best year of 2024?

• GENG (1st in Kick Off, 2nd in Madrid, 2nd in Split 1, 1st in Shanghai, 1st in Split 2, only team here that got grouped in Champs)
• Heretics (2nd in Kick Off, grouped in Madrid, 2nd in Split 1, 2nd in Shanghai, 3rd in Split 2, 2nd in Champs)
• EDG (won Kick off, split 1 and split 2, grouped in Madrid and Shanghai but won Champs)

they were 2nd in Madrid and that's while storming the upper bracket and the swiss system
won in Shanghai
got grouped in Seoul while losing to two teams who then went on to finish top 4 and top 2. That group was just a matter of someone having to be eliminated. If we rank teams on pure strength, then Gen.G are probably thru every other group

GenG --> Insane longevity, 5 grand finals in a row and winning an international in that
Heretics --> May not have won anything but their consistency was amazing. Crazy to think they've made all International LANs and their complete roster has 2nd position as the worst placement this year internationally. And for that level of consistency, always being the 'second best' team, it's fitting to put them second here again
Sen --> One Masters win + top 4 champs --> good placements and result across the year.
EDG --> Love them, Amazing run at Champs with the win but they were getting absolutely bodied in the previous 2 events so I don't think for the entire year they'd be the one as they hard bombed out (losing like 26-9 or so, not touching double digits for quite a good amount of games)
