A serious discussion about JohnQT

He doesn’t trust his own team enough so he resorts in making a bunch of very weird calls trying to outsmart everyone in the lobby. When it works he looks great, but when it doesn’t then his team looks like headless chickens even when they’re hot. He’s the main reason why SEN keep having insanely low dips, he doesn’t trust his own team to make more simple calls.

Big contrast to EG Boostio who for most of his igling was making very simple site hits/retakes because he trusts his own team chemistry to come out on top more often than not. Both of their calling is literally night and day. If 2023 EG had JohnQT as their igl, they would’ve never ever looked as consistent as they did.

Even though he’s a good enough caller to give SEN the year they had, he’s also their main issue that’s holding them back. His biggest strength is his by far his fragging and even then that’s also coinflip. SEN should try to look for a replacement if I’m gonna be honest.

don’t think he’s the reason for the low dips , i think there biggest issue is just inconsistency from individuals. The only ones you can trust to have a decent game are literally zekken and tenz, the other 3 are the biggest hit or misses in valorant.

John is an IGL so it’s excusable, sacy is reconing so i can understand it to an extent, but zellsis is a bottom Frag bandit in 80% of the games.

I agree he intends to overcook some times, but I don’t think that was the issue with the insane dips this year.

great post amovie. tbf i get him, zellsis and sacy sure cant win duels for their lives so i get him not trusting them. sad that he's not as smart as he thinks he is so his calls often end up looking goofy
