Smurfing

I love when im trying to play casually and get matched up with a level 7 jett who gets top frag with 15 kills in a swiftplay that only goes 5 rounds. this is killing the casual player base but riot is to busy milking the fuck out of skins to make money

To be honest, I'm not too worried about about swiftplay and spike rush when it comes to smurfing, because you often get bronzes, plats, and ascendants in the same lobby regardless. It's unrated and competitive where it's a massive issue, and I fully agree that it is something that needs to be fixed.

Idk about others but recently I have been leveling up a new account with my friend so that we can start playing ranked together. He forgot his account password and was too low rank anyways to play with me because he stopped playing 2 years ago. I'm not high elo at all (plat 😭) but I know that the type of players we are playing against are not as good as a typical plat player. I have never made a "smurf account" (if you can even call it that considering my rank) until now. I do frag a lot higher as expected but there really is no other way to level up my account other than doing unrated and/or swiftplay. Am I part of the problem?
