Faceit is 3rd party platform where most competitive cs players play on since it has a very good anticheat (better than vanguard imo) and better ranking system than valve mm. I think you need 25 hours on cs until you can play faceit first tho

Nah faceit games don’t count towards the weekly drops but faceit has their own system where you can earn points and buy stuff with those points, skins and stuff like that you can see here https://www.faceit.com/en/shop/cs2

Yes it still has cheating issues but dont let that stop you from trying it. if you like it you can hop on faceit, which you can google if interested.

Honestly the cheating is nowhere near as bad as people make out. Just because the anti cheat is shit people assume anybody dumpstering them is cheating whereas in Val everyone knows the anti cheat is decent so they immediately accuse of smurfing. Even in CS it's normally smurfing.

I don't think there was a patch improving it, but afaik their number sank a bit
