im not tryna be that guy but this champs is kinda boring without them imo, maybe it has something to do with 3 regional matchups on 1st round of playoffs too but talking about the rest i havent enjoyed it as much personally everyone is just going and doing their thing, no narratives, no banter, just new blood hitting shots but nothing more, i hope kang kang says some unhinged shit or anything because i think its been chill af and i dont like that, its fucking champions why am i not watching toxicity and shittalk out of vlr?

what about TH? their play style is kind of like prxs and krus except they actually have depth in their gameplay and can control their chaos while the other two just lack any depth

nah heretics aint as aggresive as them, they are pretty much like gambit, they know how to be aggresive and do so, but they dont fully commit overpeeking and shit making aces and exceptional memorable rounds

3 regional matchups first round in all honesty isn’t as bad as people make it sound be, elimination matches will be so much more exciting (atleast for americas/emea) and opposing region battling to go to uppers will be hype too

i agree fut vs fnc wasnt as entertaining but a regional match is way more entertaining if its your last chance than if its 1st round uppers, i fw elimination regionals rather than upper regionals (just my opinion tho)

the quality of play is the only thing we care about, and those teams would seriously lower it.

obviously purpose is we want them to be them at their peak level again or atleast we would wish them to be on a good enough level to compete atleast

because these teams arent necessarily iconic for how good they were (i mean best teams of 2022) but its much more about the storyline, optic vs loud was THE shit back then and eg 2023 in 2024 would also be hella exciting to watch
