I am getting a chance to study in reutlingen university for masters next april. Apart from that this progam comes with a job that pays 48000 euros in two years. And the fess for course of two years is 22000 euros.
So i have 3 questions

  1. Will it be worth to study in reutlingen? Is is really a good universisty?
  2. The salary that i am getting is it enough to survive in germany?
  3. I have a stable job so is the university worth to move?

For your third question.

48000 euros per 2 yeahrs, is 2000 euros a month, without taxes it should be arround 1300 maybe, i dont know.

its really not a lot, if you want more than a 1 room appartment. i would be nervous bro

After taxes the take away salary is 48000 euros means 2000 euros per month in hand. A normal room would be just fine.

Are you having to pay the fees for the course from that salary? Do you have to pay it off in those 2 years?

If so, I think your take home pay is approximately 17,600, 11,000 of that would go towards the tuition, so realistically I dunno how you'd live on that.

Well, I would say that the university is quite a good one. It's always the question of what your personal goal is. It is of course a good experience to study in another country. Is this €48,000 in two years before or after tax? You have to remember that you pay a lot of taxes in Germany.

After tax it is 48000 euros.
So i just want to know the average living cost as a student and opportunities i will get from that university

It’s a decent university nothing special.

You will need around 800-1000€ for living (500-700 if ur apartment is paid)

  1. Reutlingen is a very beautiful midsize city in southern germany. Its worth it.
You can check out on studycheck.de what many people think of the university. https://www.studycheck.de/hochschulen/hs-reutlingen thats for Reutlingen
  2. 48k Salary is good, minus 22k fess u got 26k rest. 13k per year is hard. Beside that u should calculate with 300-600 € Rent for a OneRoom Apartment.
  3. Personal Opinion: If u get the chance to study for 2 years in Germany and get a Master-Degree thats probably a one in a lifetime chance. TAKE IT.

Try it, the worst that can happen is that u have to go back .

If u want a genuine advice, dont go, most of its ppl dont like foreigners. Snobbery on its peak there and u will never see a German smiling beside the tough language. I recommend any EU country but Germany.

I agree with your point that not only german but people of all nationalities dosent like foreigners coming and taking their jobs. But this is like ones in a lifetime opportunity for me and the company employing is MPH-Porsche. So its like a win win for me that i dont need to take help from parents for funding and not dig into my savings for masters. That makes me tension free that if it does not workout i can always return with no regret of monetary loss.

As a german, he isn't wrong, but it depends highly on the people you meet.
Especially younger people with an academic background will generally be very accepting and friendly to foreigners.
