happy they didn’t have to split up, all are great in their current roles, if Icy was more consistent, not even texture / aspas level, like jawgemo, g2 would be top3 every year
Icy just needs to be more consistent with his performance. When he performs, he goes crazy. When he doesn't, bro shits the bed. But regardless, I think with more experience he can be one of the top players in the league.
Imo aspas makes less mistakes but isn't as agro at taking space and being the bait for the team a little. T3xture is a great duelist, but inconsistent with higher peaks than icy. I'd say if icy can just be decent, make space, get his share of FKs, and the rest of G2 is good enough to fill in the gaps. No need for changes at all.
g2 is such boring team, they're bound to beat a majority of good teams but when they play the best of the best they lose. Perma 2-4th place
Imo the regional GF for VCT is so lackluster by the end of the season before Champs. I feel like most teams are burnt out and if they've already qual'd for Champs, who cares? That's what they're spending their time prepping for, even before the regional grand final.
Tl;dr I want a LEV rematch on stage. I'd say G2 win out here.
True, but I feel like g2 has everything a team needs to win a tourney, but the firepower so they end up falling short a lot of times when they face really mechanical players

I wouldn't say they were better than OpTic, but they were still pretty good. However, they were always seen as a VCT-level team.
The only NA team where I feel like their consistency is insane. You can tell how long their core been together.
Their playstyle is very textbook probably the slowest of all the team here but it works.

They're pretty insane. Idk why some of yall call them boring. U wanna watch ranked style go watch some streamer play. G2 is a pleasure to watch. They are so well coordinated and make great plays as a team.
haha im not a fan of g2s play style, but I understand why some of yall do. personally fpx have the most entertaining playstyle
