in no other game every region is good and in val pretty much every single event there is a strong team from every region, even a region 2 years behind is always having close games against other region contenders. there is no explanation for that
it's how the game works, the team comps make the difference, it's not like CS where people do the same openings, the same smoke, the same excution on a maps for years and years for 99% time
We don't know if ceiling is low because there are factually more ways to play than CS. It's just no teams good enough to figure the most optimal way to play yet. So ceiling is high but no team has reached anywhere near it yet. It's a still evolving game.
mechanical, Valorant is low yes
So it puts more importance on movement, positioning and reactions on an individual level
I wish gun mechanics are harder though, makes Valorant a more exciting game in duels
Is it really that hard to spray in CS? Not at all, infact I’m pretty sure 50% of tier 1 players in valorant has better raw aim then top 5 riflers in cs
thats the difference between cs and val mechanics, val is pretty much only hitting the first bullet and its way easier in val than cs
its easier to hit a burst in val than spray in cs lol
I don't know too much about cs but if I try to think abt it, it feels like valorant would have so much more ways to play it. What makes cs have more ways to play?
in a way yes, everyone knows mechanically the game has lower skill ceiling than cs,the tactical side is obviously way more complex because of all the variables but it also allows for more bs and abusing of things that dont take any skill, like perma buying lmgs, playing raze shotgun on small maps, etc
I think the more a game is recent, the more the PC gap between the nation was low, the more you have chance to have close team, and that's increase even more if you have a huge company and you can make everyone that your game exist
