best average placement out of all regions. diffed AMERICAS in h2h (FUT +12 rounds vs LEV, TH +14 rounds vs 100T, TH +23 rounds vs G2). PACIFIC's PRX looked terrible and T1 went out in groups 0-2.

Maybe if the pros of your region were not as delusional as you in blindly thinking "we're the better region" and put in the time and effort to develop macro strategy, micro coordination, and respect other regions via anti-strat, then EMEA could be the best overall region.
Not all pros in your region are like this, but the majority of them are.
edit: bro edited his post, but to clarify why EMEA wasn't the best overall region at Shanghai:
EMEA: 2nd, 5th/6th, 7th/8th
AMER: 3rd, 4th, 9th/10th
APAC: 1st, 5th/6th, 11th/12th
CH: not gonna bother
The AMER team were more consistent than EMEA, and the 3rd place AMER team beat the best EMEA team twice before losing to them. It took TH 3 tries to beat G2. AMER was the most consistent region at Shanghai.
remember that TH had a sub btw. They only pracced with Patitek + Wo0t role swap for 1 day before TH vs DRG. also 2nd G2 vs TH game was throw by TH 11-2. (I seriously dont know why this is relevant when TH won when it mattered)
- EMEA literally diffed AMERICAS (FUT vs LEV, TH vs 100T, TH vs G2)
- PACIFIC's PRX and T1 were ass (FUT + FNC > PRX + T1, and GENG winning against TH with a double map ban in the final doesnt compensate enough for PACIFIC to be > EMEA)
- remember that FNATIC was only -2 rounds against GENG and then just lost a regional matchup to FUT (who is good regionally).
TH won when it mattered
They won off of having the experience of losing twice. Yes, TH threw an 11-2, just like they almost threw a 10-2 vs FPX and threw other leads. TH had a problem of throwing leads in split 1 even with the full roster.
EMEA diffed Americas
Nope, EMEA had one good team. That is not "diffing" on a regional level. You conviently left out FUT getting STOMPED by 100T. And the record between the best EMEA team and best AMER team 2-1 in favor of the AMER team.
PRX & T1
I never argued that APAC was better than EMEA as a region, so it's pointless to bring that up, but I will correct you in that PRX > FUT because FUT got stomped by 100T while PRX took 100T to map 3 overtime.
Fnatic only -2 rounds against GenG
doesn't change the fact that Fnatic didn't win a single game in Shanghai
