I know that probably no pro will read this but I'll write it anyways for anyone who might benifit.
I've seen a few posts on how some pros have been complaining about playing on 240Hz on the main stage because it feels sluggish compared to their home computer. Well, here's a pro tip: don't play above 240Hz on your home computer. Play at 144Hz for a couple of days before a match and you'll find that 240Hz will feel like the 500Hz that you're used to. This is a well-known placebo trick that can make even 30fps feel like 60fps.
Riot isn't going to replace perfectly good 240Hz monitors for 500Hz anytime soon. Besides, those 500Hz monitors would also require new PCs to be able to maintain a consistent 500fps to begin with. Don't rely on Riot, work smarter.
