I can agree with that. The monitors don't need to change anytime soon but if the PCs are fluctuating badly then they should be addressed.

Read what hell_on_earth said below. Americas raised the standard to a degree that the other regions are clearly not able to invest in (yet).

I think that some pros forget that the type of money they can spend on the latest hardware isn't as simple for Riot and each tournament organizer. Even standardizing to 360Hz is an awkward ask. Imagine being the person who has to justify why 240Hz monitors were replaced for 360Hz and new CPUs?

I know that probably no pro will read this but I'll write it anyways for anyone who might benifit.

I've seen a few posts on how some pros have been complaining about playing on 240Hz on the main stage because it feels sluggish compared to their home computer. Well, here's a pro tip: don't play above 240Hz on your home computer. Play at 144Hz for a couple of days before a match and you'll find that 240Hz will feel like the 500Hz that you're used to. This is a well-known placebo trick that can make even 30fps feel like 60fps.

Riot isn't going to replace perfectly good 240Hz monitors for 500Hz anytime soon. Besides, those 500Hz monitors would also require new PCs to be able to maintain a consistent 500fps to begin with. Don't rely on Riot, work smarter.
