Why do they not stick to the Swiss format for groups like they have been doing
bc rito games
groups give more importance to seed so its good.
It also gives more importance to luck which is not good
"luck" if there is seed there will always be luck involved doesn't matter if it is swiss or groups.
In groups you could get an absolute group of death, in a Swiss format you can have bad luck for the first round and at most the second but it's extremely more fair
well in kick offs it happened to us so you are right.
Well, kick off is a bad example because the seeding wasn't accurate but yeah
not more luck than swiss format
they do this to help sen
It’s just groups but u don’t know who you play
No, and in this case you would get 3 opportunities
Rlly? I didn’t know that. I feel like it’s more hype to cuz ppl watch to see who there fav team will draw next
Yes, with 16 teams you need 3 wins or 3 loses to qualify/be out
Wait how would that work? After three there would only be 4 teams left right?
swiss stage, check any cs major or rlcs
Okay makes sense
how would swiss stage with 16 teams work anyways?
check any cs major or rlcs https://liquipedia.net/rocketleague/Rocket_League_Championship_Series/2024/Major_1
That’s how all cs majors work
champs will always have this format
