I thought everyone was kidding when they said Curry might sub in for today's game... but this game is genuinely huge for his career.

Most streamers would salivate at a chance to play in Sentinels' most important game of the year. How do ya'll think he'll perform?

I think he'll do great, he loves playing initiator and sacy is the person he's subbing for. I understand the hate but I don't warrant it, he will do just fine and they will win today

Here's my full prediction:

SEN ban Icebox
100T ban Sunset

100T pick Bind
SEN pick Lotus

100T ban Abyss
SEN ban Haven

Decider will be Ascent (I can also see the decider end up being Abyss. Maybe SEN might try to pull a fast one and play a map that 100T hasn't prepped for so it'll be even grounds with curry.)

Curry will play Fade/Skye/Sova on the maps that are chosen.

He will go +2 in the whole series with a 1.03 rating.

i lowkey think sen might ban lotus, bc theres a lot of protocol stuff with retaking C mound and the CBA defaults.

If I was coaching SEN, I'd want to equalize curry being more of a ranked player. So I'd choose a map that he's played but 100T wouldn't expect.

That's why I think they'll end up picking Haven or Abyss, banning the other one.

I'm honestly even wary about Lotus. I feel like 3 site maps would be harder to prepare for. They might just scrap the whole regular map pool they have tbh.

My biggest bet would to aim for Sunset + Ascent. I know curry can play initiator but he's also been heavy on sentinel recently. His strength on cypher might force the Sunset pick.

right, but zekken and tenz tend to comm a lot less if they are getting shut down - in the game against 100T, they might not gain early momentum
johnqt is on lurks, so he midrounds a bit less
sacy and zellsis are the main commers - if one is gone it might be tough

Really? No matter what I've always found Tenz's comms to be excellent. Not overdone, not too loud, just very direct. Agreed on the rest of course.

Tenz is super vocal on the retakes, where his flash is #1 priority, ill have to see his gekko, but i suspect its similar - comming on retakes and execs more often than midround - which is where their trading isnt great

i could be speaking out of my ass but i think midround trading isn't going well rn for sen from the last game - which is why they lost
