1) Hardly anyone in India is vegan. Though the majority is vegetarian. There is a huuuuuuge difference between Veganism and Vegetarianism.

2) Vegans can drink alcohol.

3) Except for some states, feel free to drink as much alcohol you like.

Not vegan but vegetarian more specifically lacto-vegetarian. Also, only 40% indians are vegetarian & 60% are non vegetarian.
