2023 EG is not even close to the best team OAT

Even if you look at their champions run it wasn't even won in a dominating fashion

To get their trophy, they lucked out by drawing two shitter chinese teams and a choking DRX.

And that is without considering that LOUD knocked out FNC who they were 0-2 against throughout the year.

Against LOUD and PRX EG played close maps that could have went either way on any given day.

EG is not the best team of all time, they're just a bunch of t3 shitters who got lucked their way into a trophy.

prx got lucky loud choked lotus and eg choked against them in uppers

the only luck they had was mibr with a sub owning 100t so you’re kinda right

the only map loud and eg were close in was ascent

there is definately an arguement for it, imo Fnatic was the best team but EG was close behind BUT had a better map pool.

if 0-2 loud didnt happen i think EG would have won it regarless because of the map pool for champs

i think fnatic overall was the better team, they only lost to TL and loud twice the entire year. but anyone discrediting egs win is purely delusional and haven’t seen their games. and it’s a good thing champs wasn’t super dominant because tokyo was ran by fnatic and eg and champs any of the top 4 could’ve taken the prize which made it exciting. eg ended up being better than anyone else

yea defo, i think fnatic kinda suffered from 2 things. icebox going out of map pool, and loud showing everyone how to take them apart on lotus. both of these maps was concidered permawins for fnatic before this point

I think they had the highest peak as a team, not in terms of achievement but in terms of the highest level of valorant has seen with a huge map pool and cooridination
although the best team of all time has to be fnatic imo

I don’t think EG was the best team all time but I do think they had the best team play/coordination and strats/anti strats we have ever seen from a valorant team. They performed way above their level of raw firepower because of it.
