ah crap i cant see coz he blocked me a few month ago when he said "lev was at 80%" and i typed "is the missing 20% c0m?"
"Congrats to Talon but is this setting a bad precedent or good for the game by bringing in a player last minute to a tournament? Seems a little unfair for Team Secret... I don't know. Should there be a change in the rules by Riot? It seems borderline competitive advantage…"
He blocled me too coz i said that his son must improve in order to survive in competition. 😂 So weird
nah i mean hes his dad, i'd do that too if someone was talking shit abt my son
but that shit was funny asf
its fine if he is his dad but why tf he is steeping in Talon primmie case if he himself can't take opinion then he should also not give opinion simple as that
Not really the only dumb part was saying it was “slightly unfair to team secret” or competitive advantage. I do think his question is good cause normalizing quick roster changes is bad for pro stability
In that sense yes it is but some players just don't fit in with teams like cnerd and n0vi. All of this is to say that teams should be able to modify their roater mid season. Plus we don't know how lo g tln have been practicing with primmie either so this could just be a case of tln not revealing their hand and this being some long term plan that has only come to fruition now
tbh I dont see an issue w it, like the guy is clearly new to esports because he wants to be involved in his son's life and makes tweets to be active in the community. Whether they're W or L posts I think its pretty cool that his dad does that because I know mine wouldn't.
exactly.. i can see where he’s coming from mentioning job instability and stuff idk why people here are salty. it’s just that either it works or it doesn’t. eg did the same thing with demon1
well, you do need Riot's approval 48 hours before the game so Riot knew what was happening, and also to get him to Korea and get his work visa sorted and stuff, he must've been working for a month at least.
esports doesn't have a salary cap or player trades so having a limitation on team changes doesn't really make sense.
what about the win was a fluke? sure c0m is bad this year but his clutches and game changing rounds literally bailed them out of so many situations and he’s a big contributor to their run whether you like it or not
I think what he is saying is true, a player not riding the bench just getting signed and playing Talon's and Secret's most important game of the season is insane. I thought the transfer window last year was supposed to impede that, this year they decided to forgo the transfer window completely for some reason and allows teams to find last minute bandage solutions. Y'all are complaining he said because his claim has merit or because he is C0M's dad?
it allows non-performing players to be replaced by prospects and better talents which is good for long term as young players get motivated to play better in ranked taking primmie as inspiration
so its completely fair that a player comes in and plays the most important match of the season for the non-performing player when secret has to prepare for their match with their old footage? as for theres inherent "risk" there really isnt, when you're a team that barely squeaked in at 6th into playoffs then you have nothing to lose. In what universe is primmie to blame if they lose the match? none. Yes its always good to get new players and promote scene development but allowing such a move at the end of a season completely compromises competitive integrity.
This doesn't even make sense, if anything Talon were at a disadvantage by adding a new player and Primmie isn't even a seasoned pro
I wonder if he would've had the same take if Talon had actually lost the game
Theres obviously a risk/reward factor to it but as the 6th seed they had nothing to lose, literally sign a new player he drops 50 and no one lese in the series goes positive and they win off that. This is a regulated league not some silly 5k pool tournament.
feel bad for c0m. he can't tell his dad to stfu because he's still so reliant on his family
If anything talon has a disadvantage since putting a rank demon with 0 lan experience is such a coin flip. But I can see his point. Sooner or later, every team (franchised or not) will follow this trend leading to player job insecurity.
then it is obviously players fault for being ass and if the incoming player does not perform then obviously old players would be back again
I have seen changes not work out right off the bat like MTA from KRU, but he doesn't mention that, why wait now to say this?
And that's why you should not give attention to irrelevant people.. Unc thinks his opinions really matter
having people around who support you is a blessing. but these are so unnecessary. and mfking X algo kept suggesting his posts to me so I blocked him myself
he should know that they had barely any time to practice with him so it was a high risk high reward, but i kinda get where he’s goin with this
delusional take. If anything it's a major gamble and "dumb" move to replace a player in that kinda time frame. Just happens to be he is him.. good on talon, and papa can keep crying.
Ive seen more than a couple of moments where esports players relatives become more than just supportive about their careers and just end up talking and giving opinions about things they really have no business sticking their noses into. Im not saying this is one of those moments, but imo relatives of a player should generally stick to being 'cheerleaders' of their relative. I could definitely see him getting involved in some drama in the future accidentally but hopefully its not some shit that could harm c0ms career
Bro he’s just asking a question lmao, but I wouldn’t expect your pedophile brain to understand that
Get good stay on team, play bad get replaced. Idk what this unc is smoking but the rule is quite good, pros should be not be entitled a place on team if they're playing bad
regional stages are in theory events so the idea that they should have roster locks like cs events do and like masters and champs is not illogical
