TLN intentionally lost to ZETA

If TLN beat ZETA, they had a high probability of playing GENG in the first round of the playoffs. This would mean that they would end up with 7 championship points.
However, if they lost to ZETA, they would not face GENG, increasing their chances of expecting more than 2-3 wins in the playoffs.
And the chance to earn points for ourselves while at the same time preventing rivals such as RRQ and TS from earning points is far more important than winning ZETA and earning a single immediate point.

It's not match-fixing, but it's sickening to see this kind of deliberate act of losing.

You're wrong. If GenG win today, then TLN has to play GenG. If GenG lose though, they will play Secret.

edit: i was wrong. TS lost to both RRQ and TLN. I thought they had beaten RRQ.

No I'm right. If TS lose, it becomes a 3way tie between RRQ, TLN, and TS. It goes to map/round diff, and TS has better map/round diff than TLN
