One team went 0-3 the other 1-3(Swiss stage)
Also major is worldwide but most spots given to eu ofc

Yeah but unlike EU: NA killed every esports scene they had and stacked all their ex pros in this one esport as well as all the big orgs and they still managed to fuck it up. You retired your entire tier2 scene just to be rawdogged by tier69 russians and europeans, it's pathetic.

Well obviously being naturally garbage at everything is not a conscious decision. It's a trait.
I mean Liquid lost their coach right before the major so couldn’t be as good as their max potential. If they get hot, they can beat Navi and other top teams.

Stewie has nowhere to go unless he wants to try to revive EG and has made it clear on twitter that he's not going to leave CSGO any time soon. As goes for FalleN, he'll probably go back to a BR team like FURIA maybe
NA CS basically died a slow death. Couldn't keep up with EMEA. Team Liquid are the NA hope for CS but they went out in group stages of the major
Online cs fked em up. Couldn't play with top tier teams in EU so couldn't improve.
They were region locked in NA until Liquid bootcamped in EU late 2020, before then they were facing teams of a much lower calibre, so it didn't help them with practice. They were also in a slump mid 2020, losing to t2 and a few times even some t3 teams.
The Major is an international tournament - the NA region had 5 slots: FURIA, Liquid, paiN, GODSENT, EG.
Out of these 5, 3 are brazilian and EG are half european. Liquid were the only real hope for NA (even with 1 brazilian), but disappointed and couldnt reach playoffs
Very unfortunate, they looked really good before the tournament and completely shit the bed at the major. I hope they figure things out and return for BLAST Fall Finals because that's another LAN
All the NA teams are ass atm, the last time an NA team was actually competitive at a consistent level was Team Liquid in like 2019, the rest of the big teams either dropped their CS roster bc of the pandemic and overall lower competition levels in NA compared to EMEA and CIS or are in a rebuilding period
NA has been in a weird state as it got fucked hard by Covid. There were 3 NA teams in the Major but sadly Liquid lost their coach last minute. EG bombed out and Furia made playoffs but are Brazilian.
I do as well, I'm just saying that NA CS got fucked by covid. That isn't coping, it's just a fact. No LANs, not being able to practice and play against the best teams in the world unless they are in Europe.
