Putting recency bias aside, what was the greatest roster in VCT history and why
LOUD 2022 or EG 2023, loud 2022 doesnt need any explanation but EG made a massive turnaround to go so far in both international tourneys
I think 2023 Fnatic > 2023 EG
FNC won 2/3 events that year and was 2-0 vs EG that year as well. Only ever lost to LOUD too. Many even argue that they could have def won Champs if LOUD wasn’t in their way.
23 FNC was good too. but considering how BcJ was the most hyped player in EG at the start of 2023 and how he didnt even make the final iteration of the roster was big
both rosters are debatable but EG just has a better backstory tbh
I hate to break it to you, but a team that's getting 13-1'd on their own map pick wasn't winning champs. You could even argue that FNC wouldn't have won Tokyo if PRX was full strength, considering they have outperformed Fnatic at every event since they could play with something.
In terms of achievements FNC. In terms of ability as a team 22 Loud or 23 EG
On a player-by-player basis, it's impossible to beat 2022 Loud
As an actual project, it will be a long time until we see someone replicate how perfectly EG fit each other and how special they were together.
The greatest roster has to be current sentinels no? They just won a masters, and are about to win the 2024 champions trophy. Only team that could come close to this is 2021 SEN.

#SENCITY
You cant put 22 Loud without Optic 22-both were even
Any roster with Rb clears tho
I mean Optic had Trashies and Shitcor so to even be the best/second best team of that year in a 2.5 v 5 (fns igling gives them .5) is impressive
