2022 Valorant nostalgia

202 was the peak year for Valorant, in my opinion

And that's why it's so sad to see the 2022 cores fade away

OPTIC/NRG - middle of the pack, probably won't make the Champs. FNS, Crashies and Victor are struggling, lack of firepower is obvious.

DRX - broke the OG core, got rid of Stax, Rb and Zest. New squad has potential, but they still look very shaky at times + Termi is still here. I just miss old VS/DRX so much

FPX/NAVI - fell apart during the most important part of the 2024, got rid of Doombros without proper replacement, 0-4 in series, 0-8 in maps. Looks dead

LOUD - not in their best shape, might miss out on Champs, Aspas is gone, roles are messed up, Saadhak can't play duelist and call at the same time.

firepower wise yes but I feel like they were more disciplined with Benkai they only threw with him during Copenhagen but that was mostly because of the nerves on map 5

yea kinda like edg their real problems never show unless on the international stage because they are just so much better than their own region
however edg currently are kinda in a slump or saving strats for playoffs idk

I mean I feel like in 2022 u just needed a player to play chamber for that free pick and then like at least 1 one more shooter to win cuz everyone else was playing around the chamber pick. But now the meta is weird asf, which I don't rlly mind. But Idk I've been a sen fan since 2021 and 2022 wasn't that good of a year for sen so I didn't watch the tournaments until champs 2022.

on ascent triple initiator can be utilized now as there are gekko and kayo who are mid at entrying but can get the job done and you can play kj/cypher omen and sova

I personally got tired of Optic and Loud reaching the finals twice, but champs was really good. Maybe its just that the teams I like found more success in 23 and 24. Since its subjective it makes sense for our opinions to differ
