What is the map you absolutely hate in ranked in the current map pool?

For me it's sunset, I have to instalock raze and break the cypher trip with my grenade or we aren't going to that bomb site at all. And I ain't even in silver this shit happens even in diamond. Also feels like it is extremely defender sided map.

I used to love playing Sunset but idk man its gotten so boring in comp, especially as a sentinel main. I actually feel the same dread when Sunset pops up that I do with Breeze.

I hate Sunset. Every other map I have at least 2 comfort picks, whereas I never feel like I have much impact when I play Sunset, even when I pick agents that are not only meta but I also have a ton of hours on. Could just be a prep diff though

I feel like fracture is so ass to play but so fun to watch

It’s great with coordinated play but ranked is the last thing from that…

Icebox is a dogshit map all around to play watch say breathe even looking at the word brings me anger

arguably on of the best map pools the only thing that would make it better is

+fracture
i think all val maps are fine tbh people complain because they just suck at one map and hate it. the only map i dislike is split and obviously looking at my stats its my lowest win rate map.

then haven because i'm ass on it, abyss because its just too big
then ascent, i'm good on it even though its a bit repetitive
then lotus, because my goat baguette chamber is viable on it
then bind, because its the least strategically stagnant map and the one with the most strategic differences in comparison to other maps

Valorant maps are pretty awful for the most part, and the worst part is, there is no community consensus on what the best maps are. Each person has a different favorite 3 maps.

The worst maps in the current pool are easily sunset and lotus. Sunset always boils down to: does each team have a cypher and trip break. Lotus is just dog shit, defenders always fight A heavy. Defenders always stack A at the start to fight and if it's quiet just insta rotate to C while the C player stalls for rotates. So you literally have to play slow and fake shit if your team can't shoot, which makes the game so boring.

Haven, Bind, Ascent, Icebox, Fracture, Breeze

Attack-based maps are worst for ranked bc you must play as a team and when playing with 4 random dude, It's so hard to do team-plays. When It comes to defance side, It's easier. For me, Sunset is worst. I have 33% win rate.

Icebox is one of the few maps you can run any agent without being punished. Go to sunset and sometimes you'll get a comp with no util to break A main cypher trip. Also icebox is just w gaming but on defence it fucking sucks.

I guess that's the case for all new maps except sunset. Once enough time passes and it gets played more by you and pro play i think you might like it but somehow sunset only got worse with time tho.
