I don't really follow EMEA that much but how come there's Patitek and hiro in the player pool and not a permanent player on a franchised team? Can a random emea team just make a good team with 5 sub players?

yes, turkey and russia are insane talent pools and tier 2 is so fun to watch. German teams predicted the yoru meta on breeze or the neon meta on fracture

Because the EMEA orgs build their rosters on name value. It's better this year but last year it felt like 80% of orgs just signed the players with the biggest name instead of trying to build a good team.
