Because the EMEA orgs build their rosters on name value. It's better this year but last year it felt like 80% of orgs just signed the players with the biggest name instead of trying to build a good team.

Probably bench. Most esport orgs are broke broke. Who is going to pay the buyout AND is looking to replace a player?

Patitek also looks kinda rough if you just look at the stats. People are hyped about a possible upgrade in fire power.

I'm pretty sure you can only buy the whole bundle

Leo has the worst social media presence of anyone in such an important role.

It's probably not even his fault. Basically every decision that Riot has made for Valorant can simply explained by one simple idea.
They simply don't have the budget.

But because they can't publicly say they're not giving their brand new e-sport the budget it needs, they come up with these BS explanations for all these weird decisions.

LRojo himself is a pretty big hater. Only natural that he rubs a lot of people the wrong way.

Surely they are dropping him? I don't want to be a scoreboard andy but you can't compete at a top level with a duelist with his stats. And there should be a ton of talented Turkish duelists in T2.

L
Looks like they accidentally dropped some orange paint on the jersey.

Who are the IGLs for these teams?

Vitality roster is insane, no? Why are they so low?

Ahhh, I didn't expect that team to be even included. Didn't even think about him.

Valorantle #35 2/8

This was the only player from this team I could name off the top of my head.

They have way less players than CN. And way worse training environment (worse internet, less high level teams to practice) than KR.

Some players have the game very loud so they can hear steps and turn it down when they die.

Probably turning down sound.

For the roles to work either Bang or Ethan need to leave. I guess 100T decided to go with Bang and I don't see Ethan staying if Derrek and Stellar are joining.

Pretty much every team beside the NA teams would struggle in EMEA.

I think there are problems with sanctions. How are they supposed to pay the prizemoney? Or the Russian orgs pay their foreign players?

Is Malaysia not included in SEA? The ping must have been very high.

How are Dsyre in the DACH qualifier when they don't have a single DACH player in their starting line-up?

posted about 2 years ago

Maybe there will be a Last Chance qualifier? Something like the play-in system for LoL Worlds?

posted about 2 years ago

That seems like mega copium. The teams that lost would've also lost if the positions were reversed and the invited teams came through opens. The invites were just based on old data when there are so many new rosters and there are also a ton of good teams in EU.

posted about 2 years ago

That's insanely dumb. You have to fight through hundreds of teams in an open qualifier. Every team in the open qualifier would have killed for an invite.

It's double elim btw

I'm pretty sure Fracture is already one of Brimstones best maps. Gambit plays him on Fracture and he was picked a decent amount in the RedBull tournament.
