Why did Fnatic fell of?

I have been a Fnatic fan for quite some time and I got to say that they are struggling as of late. My take is that other teams adapted quickly on how Fnatic played. I am interested on what the community has to say about that. Maybe there are other factors contributing to their downfall?

Leo is sick. Their strats are same from 2023. I mean look at lotus everyone moved away from viper but fnatic still stuck there. People blame the coach too but im not knowledgeable to judge him. Derkes performance wasn't so great this year, ofc he had some amazing maps. Boaster losing crucial fights has impacts on rounds too. Finally a lot of teams have improved a lot making emea more competitive than last year.

this opinion is true if you stopped watching fnatic in april, since then if you haven't seen the new ideas, the resurgence of lotus, boasters improvement and the new strats ur delusional. Derke I admit has been further from the top duelists compared to previous years however he performed extremely well againt the last 3 opponents showing a recent shift.

I just feel like they have been stuck with the last year's meta. Didn't adapt enough. I do believe they can turn it around though, they are not THAT bad that all is lost.

For a long time they had very dominant maps in Lotus and Icebox, where they would win pretty much 100% of the time thus meaning they only needed to win one map, which was easy to do with their skill. They no longer have super dominant maps like they did

I think in 2023 the meta coincided with their players comfort picks, so on those two maps Fnatic had the best (or among the best) players for the best in slot agents on those maps (and Boaster), plus chronicle could just play whatever they needed well.

With the meta shift fnatic had to choose between comfort picks or adapting to the meta.

they're only adapting comps to the new meta now and still run old ones along with individuals being worse in every way this year, though hiro does look to somewhat fill the gap that leo left

meta also shifted to double flash meta which is much more wild and less mind game focused, thats why IGLs at the top are all fragging IGLs (Munchkin, johnQT, Boo, Valyn)

also EMEA is much, much stronger this year with FUT looking better than last year, KC being competitive, TH are just incredible to watch, NaVi did look good until they got rid of d00mbr0s which I still don't understand

boaster is getting so much hate and for what lol firstly hes putting up the same stats as last year secondly its his igling mixed with the coaching staff. its like 50% the coach 20% boaster and 30% other players

EMEA is full of all aim all brain, unlike americass. And fnatic is lacking some of the aim compared to other EMEA contenders.
