I mean like when Alfa goes 9-0 FKFD what the fuck can you do?
After you win a 3-11 against the brazilian gods on their home turf nothing really compares
BOASTER NEW STRAT
SEND OUT RATS TO CHEW THE CABLES SO THEY TECH PAUSE AND BREAK MOMENTUM
Technically nobody saw that last round so can we replay it pls
(I am salty and delusional)
Dont think Tokyo is an accurate representation. The EMEA finals was completely inconsequential for any team because fnatic won lockin so there was no motivation for either TL or FNC to try in the finals.
Literally 3 rounds separated FNC and Liquid today so it really could have gone either way. Liquid looks really promising to make a lower bracket run.
TL will go on a suicide bomber run to knock out SEN and then crash out.
As a kiwi FNC supporter I relish this opportunity to shit on an australian with just cause.
Goodnight uncle. No matter what has happened in recent times this guy's legacy is undeniable.
There was a split second on net's POV that showed him using a cypher cam that looked over the whole of mid. Seems to be placed above window? Anyone know how he placed that?
FNC when they win after putting the Turkish aimgod wonderkid on a duelist and just letting him go kill: :0
It's a bad look to send Kajaak right after getting him and he still enables the double duelist compositions.
But yea we need a secondary caller for Boaster.
Abyss just looked like a certified Fnatic troll.
I think Boaster having a secondary caller is doing wonders for him. He can focus on fragging and Crashies was proven as a solid secondary caller under FNS.
Wonder if having a secondary caller/midrounder on the team will finally allow Boaster to focus more on shooting instead of having to micromanage everything.
I feel like Fnatic would win so much more if every match is a BO5. I swear they fall asleep map 1, wake up map 2, and cook map 3 onwards.
I think G2 as a team is great because they play slow and disciplined valorant that punishes mistakes. The issue is that Boaster's calling style feeds off of all the space and time G2 gives them. When he gets pushed by random aggressive plays or set plays is when Boaster fumbles his calls and g2 couldn't capitalise.
Really unlucky by G2 but still amazing showing from an ascension team.
You can't tell me there isnt some voodoo black magic shit. How is chron the only person firing against Kru
Absolutely goated. Nice that there are a few for Abyss already. Valoplant is still pretty barebones when it comes to that map.
No matter what happens I want hiro on a tier 1 team. Bro has been insanely reliable and he's better than a lot of flexes in tier 1 EMEA.
Bro signed a binding pact to only start shooting when he's in a 1vX
If Alfa had any other gun he could have quite realistically won that.
Brother is on one.
Night before this whzy changes his name to Whzhfhd549 and Derke forgets it.
and so began the second BLG incident.
well uhhhh if they lose to BLG tonight then at least we know what happened.
Lowkey banging though?
I think 1:18 is Boaster (can kind of see the semblance), and then Sayf is sitting on the trophy to the right.
The green background is used to symbolise EMEA later on and that scene has the trophies that EMEA has won.
Kind of makes sense to have Boaster sitting on the the champs trophy since he's been to champs 4 times and hasn't won yet.
Maybe I just can't read but where does it say 'lower finals' in the tweet or where does it indicate that it's potentially DRX?
Goat showing from FNC. Love that they've found their own comp and I think Alfa Iso is genuinely untapped potentially that FNC can take far.
Congrats on the cactus too ig kekw.
I think Iso works if it's on Alfa. It lets him play that secondary entry position like Demon1 where he can use the space the primary duelist creates to just take duels and get value that way.
Him on Sentinels means that FNC is not actually using his firepower in entry positions.
Fnatic try to win on sunset without giving everyone a heart attack challenge: difficulty impossible.
Ethan looks so depressed at the half bruh. He's trying to impact frag and then theres little Pujan facechecking out of a smoke.
Commenting so I can come back in 2 hours
Pancada continues to carry despite Loud's best efforts
I'm curious. People are saying Deadlock is being picked as an anti-Neon but I feel like Cypher still fits that role better. I get that his trips get broken more easily but Deadlock's kit just lacks the flexibility.
redgar is built different.
When FNS can go 13/38 and it's not the worst performance from a player in the past 2 weeks.
I think Boaster is the only one who's been somewhat able to adapt to the new zoomer meta. The best igls these days aren't ones that can call big brain macro plays but just aimers that can regroup the team in the midround.
Honestly FNS to coach might be the play here.
Old Loud with Sacy and Aspas was an example of an actual impressive brazillian roster. Right now i feel like the talent is being diluted among teams that don't know how to use them.
Aspas on LEV is not getting the same amount of support he did with LOUD, and Saadhak is not having the shooters that would enable his calling. It's like taking a sniper rifle away from a seasoned sniper and giving it to a rookie.
Mibr is just shitting the bed idk what's happening there.
I don't really like judging players just off of the scoreboard but after an 8/37 with no significantly impressive IGLing to back it up I think Redgar deserved the boot here.
I think in 2023 the meta coincided with their players comfort picks, so on those two maps Fnatic had the best (or among the best) players for the best in slot agents on those maps (and Boaster), plus chronicle could just play whatever they needed well.
With the meta shift fnatic had to choose between comfort picks or adapting to the meta.
