Do trophy wins and qualifications count towards playoffs?
like
if a Ateam goes 8-2 and and Bteam goes 5-5 but Bteam won an event and classified for the other
does Bteam have preference for playoffs? or do the points only kick in AFTER playoffs? like, all points get accounted for .

Top 6 Teams with best records REGARDLESS of winning any event or Making Stage 1 playoffs

Points only matter for 4th place for champs if a team dosent make top 3, so rn sen has the most points with 10 so id they don't make top 3 in playoffs they’d take the 4th spot regardless if they bomb out or not currently.

what if sen magically won every game in split 1 and 2, then the 2nd highest champ points gets the 4th spot? I'm sorry I'm just confused 😭😭

if they didn’t make Top 3 in playoffs for stage 2 then yes they would be 4th, but if they did make Top 3 then whoever is next in line would for points would get the 4th slot

champ points just replaced the LCQ that’s all it’s for.

Top 3 at playoffs are seed's 1 2 and 3 and then from the remaining teams whoever has more points is seed 4

that was my question yes.

one more, it seems alot of teams will end up 5-5 on the scoreboard
do they get to play MD1s against each other to see who qualifies or is it gonna be nerd fiesta where the stats determine the classification??

i believe if they all end up 5-5 then it would go to map counts, if the map count is tied then it would go to round counts if that’s tied then it’s a best of 1.

i’m not exactly sure on that btw ^^^ or if it’s not that they just play a best of 1 and whoever wins goes up into playoffs but it’s one of the two

You're correct. It's H2H first, but in this case with a 3 way tie or more it's as you said, map difference then round difference then bo1

You're confused. Points are to see who goes to champions not to playoffs. Top 3 at playoffs goes straight to champions and then from the 8 remaining teams whoever has more points is the 4th team to champs
