Imagine CSGO esports is oficially dead, Valve announces that just like 1.6 was, and not making updates anymore on the game so all pros from CS Come to Valorant (imagine i said)

why are you acting like the game being 1yo is somehow a disadvantage for valo lmao there should be more hype because of it ,it would be embarassing if the 1st ever valo major doesnt peak ateast 1m on finals,csgo literally 9yo and still getting the same wiewers as like 3-4 years ago,i wonder how many wiewers champions 2024 will get :DDD
I don't really understand this point. The fact that CSGO can still keep such high numbers just shows that it won't die any time soon and has been doing well. That should be a compliment. We can't say for sure how Valorant viewership will look in 8 years. And this is no hate towards either of game, enjoying both.
That just shows that the game is popular. Fortnite had crazy viewership for their World Championships even though the game was only like 1 year old. And look how the viewership and interested has dropped (mainly due to Epic Games, but anyway). Valorant will last longer, but what I'm saying is that the age is pretty irrelevant. Obviously Riot Games' tactical FPS is going to get a lot of interest from the start. It really isn't an achievement when they walk into strong foundation that has been built by LoL and CSGO for years.
