It’s actually sad that they have to be associated with the rest of APAC after bench pressing the region for 3/4 years. I’m 100% certain their talent in Korea is enough to give them their own league like China. It is only up from here, just like the early days of LoL.

They already have been a separate region before KR when VS/DRX was the only dominant team before franchising. Do you think they could've gotten good experience if they were their own region like CN just competing against their own then sending teams to internationals. APAC split / regional league allowed GENG to play and practice with different teams and playstyles

I just now gave u the example of Dplus, what's ur point?
DRX themselves having the same core could never reach top 2 intl.
KR talent is good prolly best in PACIFIC but not sufficient to be a standalone region

And thats not to mention the talent that was in jp in 2023 like izu akame tenten etc who could have been on dplus

And this year the talent pool is even better, with rb stew k1ng sylvan zest etc not on korean teams (these players alone are enough to make a pacific contender)
