This map and sites are very open, too open to even bother running double smokes since a lot of the walkways are too wide for one smoke and investing in two 24/7 is dumb. Harbour is decent but falls off insanely hard on the post plant. Probably gonna be double initiator, dedicated smoker like brim or astra, then duelist like Jett or Neon or Yoru even, and senti.

I could also see the possibility for triple initiator honestly or the regular senti + viper combo. Maybe this map doesn’t need smokes for how open spaces the sites look, idk.

• current form GENG would’ve slaughtered Madrid (which makes sense to see that they’ve improved a lot considering this is a completely new roster for Meteor)

Glad we finally had a relevant tourney since Champs, it’s been almost a year. For all the crybaby SEN fans that think I’m only saying this bc TH made the final, I would be saying the same thing if it was a G2 v 100T final.

Map 3 of FPX v TH felt like it was an upgrade in competition compared to like 95% of the maps we’ve seen in Madrid, and that was a Swiss stage match.

There’s levels to this. Madrid’s only relevance was that it showed GENG’s early potential, that’s it. The winners of the event got regionally fucking grouped lol.

Baffles my mind that people genuinely thought this entire tournament was set up for PRX to win and to bring home APAC’s 1st trophy, every analyst ever actually bought into the hype just because Jinggg came back. Watch it happen all over again once PRX goes back to farming mid teams in their region.

Is that there’s a really high chance they will probably still get less hype and expectations for Champions compared to PRX. Even though GENG won Kick Off and reached the Madrid final, all it had to take for everyone to jack off to PRX again was a 2-3 loss in the split 1 final. GENG were the obvious 1st seed, just like how TH was the obvious 1st seed and not flukenatic.

PRX hype needs to die, GENG will carry APAC for the 3rd time in a row. They will probably be the greatest team of all time at the rate they’re heading.
