best thing to happen to this esport

first 2 years of val were so predictable lol

aside from a zeta run pretty much everyone knew exactly the top 4-5 teams,

franchising comes, fnc wins one master, eg wins champs, sen wins against gen.g also a brand new team, then shanghai the top 4 will be mostly new to the international stage besides for prx

sucks for t2 but from an objective standpoint the tier 1 events are a lot more entertaining if you actually enjoy being a fan

It's crazy to say that when a non-franchised team is in upper final.

Everyone can participate if they qualify, exactly like in 2022

the game was predictable because it was new. not because of the open system 😂

The game was not even predictable at all, plenty of crazy stories too, idk what he's saying. But I would say the opposite, the newer the game is the more unpredictable, more players are likely to come out of nowhere and new things to be discovered

Sorry but EG would never have won champs in an open circuit

Franchising consolidated talents across the world and let more players actually COMPETE
just mind you, teams weren’t even trying to qualify to lans in EMEA lol they knew ts was wraps because of how snooze and free qualifiers were for anyone outside the top 5

The more a game is new the less it's predictable, anyone can break the matrix and find the unbeatable meta strat that none have think about

one of the best things franchising has brought about is everything is on LAN, we don't get pathetic onliners

Kind of unrelated but for some reason champs 2022 felt so hype and nothing hasn't rly come close yet.
