Hacking is prevalent on their server, which is bad 'cause players probably want to rank up on their new account asap

no stats. Checking stats is a fun part of VCT
very easily get involved into political stuff. Their official Valorant channel refused to broadcast GenG games at Madrid, for political reasons (and the thing they're mad at is posted by GenG's league branch)

I mean just say some Chinese org claim Korea island dokdo as japanese. Wouldn't Korean be angry and not support that Chinese org if they come play in Korea when there already is some beef among east asian countries? It's the same situation rn with geng and Chinese people.

Absolutely. You can't generalize the entire crowd based on series with a specific team in it... They have valid reasons for not cheering and if GenG wasn't at the event it would be different.

To be honest I don't focus on the crowd at all when I watch these matches, so it was actually a pretty poor choice to comment on this topic in the first place. Regardless, I think the crowd is better than you're making it out to be (not that I'm good at differentiating between various crowds). It could be better for sure but I'm sure it'll be great at the MB.

Actually is the best decision in the long run. And I mean for absolutely everything, getting Chinese into Val would mean more players-> more people buying skins-> more people buying team bundles-> more money for teams so better teams. And that's just some reasons as to why it's actually a really good desition.

This is wrong. I saw players with the imperium vandal which released last year in August globally. This is because esports is hosted on a custom server, not the China server.
This is at best anecdotal. Vanguard will murder most cheats.
No, the crowd was fine, I think it’s more of a caster issue
Most stats exist except for rating and KAST, which people don’t seem to care a lot about.
This I somewhat agree because of talent refusing to come to China for political reasons, which hurts the event A LOT.
