I’m surprised people aren’t talking about this team more. They’re the core of rare atom minus their igl and going into the season, I rated them really highly because they looked so good before, but now they’re the worst team in their region. What even happened? I get they lost their igl, but were they really that impactful? Are they the dfm of china?

also nrg replaced 3 players(2 if marved counts as a core member). jdg only replaced one

Play in competitive is more than just play the game, they might not have a synergy or some problem between the players, it’s not just click heads, they also might feel the pressure of playing in the stage

That’s fair, but iirc jdg were already playing on lans for china. This shouldn’t be any diff. And this isn’t like nrg where there were multiple player changes, it was just their igl. Shouldn’t the synergy still be there between the four players? I’m not saying that confidence or synergy don’t play a role, but I’m just so surprised with how drastic the change is from being able to contest with edg to being the worst in their league

well this split they lost 4 games 3 of which were 1-2
i feel like they were struggling to adapt at first, but they’re gonna climb back
they also beat wolves 13-1 on the last map of the group stage
i think they’re gonna look much better in split 2

They also lost their coach I believe, so that could've really hurt them. Yoman also could've been the vibes guy, so without him the vibes are all fucked up

JDG looked like the team I was told about when they faced Wolves in their most recent match, and unlike so many other teams they were competitive with EDG. The roster/coaching changes definitely messed them up but I expect them to do well in the next split.

im ngl i haven't watched much of the chinese games so im rly js looking at standings. i hope they do become competitive again tho
