If by any miracle you see this, you are the goat. You are an award winning player, you've inspired thousands and your legacy will continue to do so for as long as val is relevant. There will always be bandwagoning haters who don't realise that they're talking about a human being while sitting comfortably behind a screen; despite the fact that you've put yourself out there on the stage making the effort to still compete, even after getting fucked by C9, even after having to move halfway across the globe, and even despite health issues.
Obviously I don't know you personally or anything, so this could miss the mark by a lot; but I think that there's a chance a player such as yourself can be in a slump, and see all these positive remarks and feel guilty over the fact that people still defend you despite recent performances, which probably would just create a negative feedback loop for your mental.
I want to make it clear that despite all this glazing, I don't want to put any pressure (like the scenario that I've just outlined). You can retire, you can come back and surpass your peak or even go -20 every series for the next 3 years; all I ask of you is to know you'll always have people on your side and to have more confidence in yourself, the only way we can know about your confidence is through your gameplay and through your posts and with the latter being infrequent (not a critique, just an observation), it leaves us with really only one avenue to speculate.
You will always have fans, regardless of performance.
Be it whilst you're backed into a corner or out in the spotlight. There will always be those who are against you, and there will always be those few who earn your trust and stab you in the back the moment you turn. But always remember there are those who will stick by you no matter what. I'm sure you already know all this so just to cover my ass I'm just gonna say this post was probably more for me to vent a bit after seeing all the threads on the topic.
tldr: I am a fan of both y0y AND yay and I'm sure there are many others who are too.
