Franchise system is colapsing

We are seeing the colapse of the Brazilian orgs, nobody in the world makes that amount of money to be able to sustain a org in United States, even worse, Los Angeles.

To LOUD be able to compete in tier 1 they would have to pay each player 20K dolars, that's literally 100K BRL.

Imagine this for 5 players, that's more than a Million a year for a single team that ain't making that much, even If they win everything they ain't making that money back.

It's simply Impossible to sustain a system like this, Brazil should have their own franchise league in Brazil, we will forever be a exporting reagion for other teams like KRU, LEV, SEN to buy our players forever.

no at least not for loud
loud has the money but just doesnt want to pay that much
its not like NA orgs can afford to pay their players that either... they operate in the red

"The CEO of LOUD stated that the NA orgs operate in the $negative$ and he does not intend to join them, so he pays salaries that the org can still make a "profit", that's why he can't secure players like aspas, Less, Sacy and paNcada since the NA orgs offers huge cash for them, but the org itself is quite rich."

someone else said this but is good example of why loud wont pay their players a lot
not bc they cant afford it, but bc they do not want to operate like NA orgs and in the red for their players

edit: also if this is true then why are non-BR LATAM orgs chilling (as far as i know)?
its literally just LOUD does not want to play the roster game like the other orgs do, and they are punished for it

Is because non BR orgs like LEV and KRU are runned by European football players that run money on Euros, Messi and Aguero must have at least 1 Billion dolars, they basically can shit money and whatever.

Valorant today is basically just like horses where to rich people, or Football teams for Saudi Arabia Sheiks

Yeah it should never have been in Los Angeles or even California. And I know they have a studio there for lcs, but it was a dumb idea to even have that there in the first place. I feel like a good idea could be to do it in the riot Brazil studio that they use for cblol

I mean
just with languages and culture
I feel america is more internationally friendly than most of south america no?
Wouldnt it be harder for NA players to adjust to BR than South American players adjusting to NA
idk i could be wrong

Yeah you're probably right. But my point about having it in LA being a dumb decision still stands. There are much cheaper places even in the US to have it.

well its riots game and they its their own arena it would be pointless to rent an arena knowing that most US teams are in LA

I agree with that, I'm just saying that the arena shouldn't have been there in the first place. Ofc it's too late, but it does kinda suck for orgs.

I think it's more complicated than that honestly. Like, you mention teams like KRU and LEV, but they are also from South America and don't have the best currency exchange to dollars either. Though for KRU you can make the argument that they can be sustainable because of Sergio Aguero and Messi (which is fair as they are rich as fuck) that's not the case for LEV, their owner is not some crazy billionaire, but he manages LEV finances well. For example, despite their current roster, this year's budget for LEV in VCT is the same one as last... Yes, their current roster has the same budget as their previous roster with Tacolilla.

It's funny how a lot of people think LEV pulled out the bank and went bankrupt to get aspas and c0m, which is not the case at all. Their CEO has said plenty of times that even though he was down to making some sacrifices to get aspas, he was never going to put the org sustainability at risk over a signing. He is a smart guy.

Didn't teams get a stipend of 600k-1million annually. Plus last year teams gets money from lock in bundle and champs bundle. It should be enough to cover 80% of the salary. This year they get money from team capsule and champs bundle
