Report: Keyd Stars look to replace ntk with mwzera or krain

According to Brazilian outlet VALORANT Zone, Keyd Stars Keyd Stars Inactive seek to loan Gamelanders Blue Gamelanders Blue Inactive 's Leonardo "mwzera" Serrati or Liberty Liberty Inactive guuih Guilherme Mariano pepa Matheus Colleto duhT Eduardo Teixeira Zanatsu Carlos Eduardo tockers Gabriel Claumann 's Gustavo "krain" Melara to replace Lucas "ntk" Martins for Champions.

According to VALORANT Zone, Havan Liberty have confirmed Keyd Stars' intention to discuss krain's buyout. However, mwzera has already been seen practicing with Keyd and seems the most likely fit. Also according to the report, Keyd and Gamelanders have refused to comment on the matter.

During Masters: Berlin, Canaltech revealed that, in 2015, ntk had been sentenced to six months of open prison regime, a special type of sentence in Brazil, on assault charges. It led to a restraining order and the payment of a $2,000 BRL (~$360 USD) bail. Keyd were contacted by Canaltech at the time but did not reply.

Keyd Stars are qualified for Valorant Champions, due to start on December 1, as Brazil's second seed. It's a loan so it seens pretty viable, at least for now. After the champions if the results are positive VK will definitely try to buy mwzera (maybe his contract is ending too, which would help his buyout price).

Krain will be good too, since he's better than ntk and have a bigger agent pool. kinda hoping for mwzera tho, especially because i wanna see him at champions and what he is really capable of (a bit afraid too, because he's underperfoming lately).

The owner from VK (Edu Kim)he said he would spend as much as needed on Valorant's team to do well in Champions, as he spent 10 years in the League of Legends trying to make it to the Worlds (including Keyd was the first team in the WORLD to bringing Koreans to the team) and never having gone. He has built several superteams in other games, Valorant would be no different, especially now that he classified.

Lately Murizzz is mostly on raze/reyna/phoenix, so i don't see a problem if they're going to stick with that comp for Champions. And yes, mwzera on Skye just doesn't work, lmao.

Obs: Murizzz already played Sova and a Skye before, so it's a viable lineup, but indeed risky.

We just implemented this change to Keyd prior to posting this, it was a past oversight on our part. Vivo is a Brazilian telecommunications sponsor that is a naming sponsor to Keyd Stars, the org's actual name.

In VLR.gg we avoid any naming sponsors (re: TSM FTX, Vodafone Giants) and opt for the team's name without it (TSM, Giants Gaming) similar to Liquipedia.

Probably cuz sponsors come and go and they're basically ads in a name. Freely promoting said sponsors isn't ideal since they don't have deals/contracts with vlr.gg, liquipedia, Riot, etc to do so. That'd be like us saying "prime gaming flawless" after a flawless round which nobody does except people at official riot productions (or streamers for jokes).

People are really delusional if they think mwzera is the best fit here.

He only plays as star player, we saw in LATAM/BR LCQ, that even when playing second duelist he was lacking in performance, and his skye was awful. Heat is already better than him and is the star player for this team.

Krain is the best havan player, probably 2nd best sova in Brazil and fits perfectly for the support role, as he also plays all the other initiators perfectly in his team.

People saying that mwzera is still the best player in Brazil are not watching the last tournaments, he is not even the best player in his own team.

Of course he has talent and had an incredible aim, but i dont see this as being the problem here. Heat already does this job.

Im a Furia fan like you, but i see krain being a better support player than nzr.

Both Sacy and Nzr plays sova almost as a second entry, Krain is more flexible as the other guy said and i think they are not looking for a second entry, but for a guy that help enable heat/murizz even more and can also stay alive to clutch some rounds.

When i say this im not saying that nzr is bad, is just that i cant see a better player to enter vivo keyd than him.

Nzr is already playing at Furia and doing well, going to champions with his own team, krain is the one avaible.

Don't get me wrong, MW is an amazing player but tbh I'd prefer if they got Krain as an Flex/Iniciator - I think he has a bigger agent pool than NTK and that way VK would still have the nice duelist sinergy between Heat and Murizzz.

If they end up picking MW to play Sova and Skye I think it's kinda dumb, he'll obviously still make some nice highlights but as a team player I think I prefer Krain.
