They only lost to TL in a seeding match and to their kryptonite of Loud at Champs.

Paper Rex is losing
Everyone is losing and has always had these types of losses
Loud 2022 probably comes closest to Fnatic 2023 or Optic 2022 that also lost a lot of seeding matches in NA and upper bracket games in internationals but still way more losses than Fnatic in 2023
wdym criminally underrated? they were the most dominant throughout the year and were widely considered the best team at the time, Alfajer and Leo were considered best in their respective roles and were also favourites to win champs. the only trolling they faced in vlr is boaster and derke being carried by the other 3 and lock/in being considered a mickey mouse tourney by some people
you gotta take into factor that not only was Fnatic in their best form throughout the whole of 2023 but last year's EMEA League was just downright atrocious
Now its gotten WAYYY better but of course prime Fnatic wasnt going to lose against Scream's KC and an overcooking NaVi
the loses from the top teams this year in their own respective leagues just shows how much all the other teams have improved and its almost impossible to stay dominant nowadays with increasing competition
