You pretty much have to listen to how their former players talk about them

I have very little knowledge about the Spanish scene so I cant give you that much info, but miniboo praised him on his stream today as a strategic coach

Depends ive seen many players talk bad about their previous coaches mostly in sports not as much In eSports

its gonna depend on the person for sure; someone young like Miniboo probably wouldnt shit-talk to coach that got him into t1
but theres quite a few players who do just call out their former coaches when asked to compare them

the ones I can think off of the top of my head are sayf talking about barbarr (wasnt that negative), nukkye had a pretty long discussion comparing his past coaches to pipson a while ago and then theres the ardiis stream where he just talks about all his past teams (and a ton of coaches get called out)

but also them just bringing up past coaches when not explicitly asked about them is a sign for a good coach (like the miniboo example above)

you have to look at the tangible shit, even team results don’t mean much

hsk was coach of dfm when they ate ass for a year straight, then he joined geng and they got to grand finals with a new roster

Everyone would speak well about their former coaches

You can look at;

Reasons why teams are losing (is it aim, or lack of strategy?)

How well you counter strat teams, especially after long breaks, loud shouldn’t be getting 10 rounds on breeze

How well you adjust on timeouts

Protocols the team has

How innovative teams are

These are all visible and if you look at potter she’s absolutely flawless

Even just watching EG now you can tell they have the supreme meta read, and were able to bring out a deadlock and do it really well, they lost vs loud because of an obvious skill diff (anti strat wasn’t that good either but they didn’t play enough rounds map 2 to know for sure)
