Valorant championships are much better to watch than CSGO championships. CSGO is a lot more fun to play than Valorant, so this discussion is over.

it's not preference I think it's more like what you grow up. Since CS has never been your first game ofc you would find valorant enjoyable. I can still watch a 30min video of cooler and rapha going at it in 2010 or the WCG finals of cs1.6 2009 which is an hour long easily but I can't watch 9 rounds of valorant lol.
Just so you know I find CSGO a bit hard to enjoy too at times because like valorant its so damn slow and people hold angles forever unpunished but it is more watchable than valorant.
I didn't backtrack anything, I agree that in his case it would be a preference but for me personally it's more of a growing up thing. The way I see fps competitive games these days are so slow it is hard and difficult when your so used to smooth game engines that replicate what a perfect fps game feels like.
same I only watch G2 matches too but would check out the occasional underdogs from time to time. I think watching cs with friends is the best way to enjoy watching it. Just stream it live on discord and talk among each other, it makes it more fun experience imo. Yeah tarik is nice to watch with as he makes everything interesting but I can't stand zapzera haha
CS GO is way more fun to watch than Valorant. We can all remember a crazy clutch, play from CS, Valorant due the abilities make all of it so repetitive (like Jett aces/clutches) , happen so often that isn't something that is remarkable.
That's why when a player do something crazy in a pro match in CS u see the play in LiveStreamFail and others subreddits with high up votes while Valorant plays are restrict to the game respective subreddits.
