the level of competition was a degree above Iceland, and they went through the entire tournament without losing a single map until the finals.

100T best envy more ( doesn’t mean anything to u guys )
100T beat gambit and they have a 100% stronger mental than envy

See 100T got stomped map 1 and in map 2 they got stomped and made a comeback
To be stomped like that and then comeback and win the next 2 series
It takes a really good team and a really strong mental and 100T have that

And for ppl who said it was fluke
100T vs Acend
They lost map 1 and then won 2-1
And they made a 12-7 comeback on final map

And for many
Acend and gambit were the best EMEA representatives
Smb didn’t do that great
And G2 hits different on LAN

And envy
Sure they beat sentinels
Sure they didn’t drop a map
But when they lost a map
They fought back
Sure but they couldn’t win after that

I’d make an arguement that MAYBE

If 100T made it to GF they could’ve won 3-1 or 3-2 against gambit
But who knows

Teams have definitely stepped up since Reykjavik but losing Lakia is the major reason why they have fallen off, not that NU were shit in the first place

With Lakia, I’m confident that they would’ve at least made the GF in the LCQ

Sentinels are big fluke, you saw that in Berlin and you gonna see it in Champions too…they dont have a coach, they were better in Iceland than the other teams cause back than there werent good strategies in the game, so they just won it with aim cause they had shazham and tenz in the team, sick is good too but they not gonna do much without a coach and with these same strategies all the time.

Champions winner is gonna be Gambit or Liquid imo, but VS, Acend,Envy,G2 can put up a good fight too.
