Very true, I was just talking about as rounded player, Asuna being flex this year has proven in my book that hes a better player. Although I will say, I think TenZ's full potential hasn't been unlocked, I'd love to see him on a team with a REALLY good coaching staff that will help him with his agent pool. Right now his agent pool is literally just Chamber, Jett, Yoru, and I feel as if we saw Sentinels play Bind during LCQ they still would have had him on Chamber. His Raze needs work but I think its suuper do-able.
well, it's not a good comparison between the two because they do not overlap agents. but tenz did not play better than asuna in their most recent matchup--i think if you look at their stats you could argue it either way (i personally think asuna had more impact, but flair bias). but they had the same ACS. in addition, tenz played only chamber while asuna played neon, raze, and kay/o.
asuna also had a stronger performance in the tournament overall.
He definitely did not have more impact. He had 2 eco round aces that inflated his stats a lot. Derrek basically won them that game with all the clutches lets be honest. TenZ had way more impact getting crucial multi-kill rounds on his own. the only argument going for Asuna is his flexibility which is a pretty strong argument tho. And he overall played better in the tournament as well.
derrek won them which game? he only had one clutch on haven, and sen had a few clutches. i agree that tenz played better on fracture, but asuna played better on haven which was the deciding map.
tenz played really well and won sentinels fracture which kept sen in the series. not trying to discount him. it's kind of a dumb exercise to compare them honestly, i'm just being a 100t fanboy for comparing the two players bc they have different roles lol

i have, since his immortsl days and if there's one thing i know about him, it's his inconsistentcy sometimes, he isn't reliable in pressured situations and when he gets nervous, and that's why i don't think he will carry the same momentum from LCQ

Kinda strange you're using only those two games, I'm not saying he's the best player but the guy isn't a choker for sure, its a team game at the end of the day and he played entry he isn't going to just frag every round. The last 2 stages this year he's been their best player and almost carried the team against FAZE in the second LAN qualifier and he and derrek had their best tournament this LCQ, guys opening the round for the team on every agent, but most people just recognize the clutching of derrek which is fair, but the guy isn't a choker bro.
