I mean it’s honestly easier than you might think, I know a guy who had a broken finger during bmt and somehow managed to push all the way to PES F, the main issue is it’s really frowned upon and most families won’t allow it

PES F means you’re free. Once granted MINDEF won’t contact you again. People say frowned upon and such but thats just nonsense. I have many PES F friends and am also PES F myself. No problems landing a job because employers really don’t care if you served or not. No issue getting BTO either.

Easier to get if you haven’t officially enlisted. So basically produce whatever documents during the pre-enlistment medical. If you’re already serving then slightly harder, most common I’d say is any mental condition be it real or fake.

Guys, can I ask. I was PES F due to Depression and Anxiety. It was 9 years ago. I have since recovered. I enlisted as PES B but later got diagnosed with it when I shared my family problems and was really worried each day. I was very immature and stubborn to listen to advise.

After being downpes to PES E( things worsened because I felt useless and always wanted to do my best in NS so subsequently PES was lowered to PES F. It has since been almost a decade, a little older now but still below 30 and dun mind training physically, do you guys know of anyone that has been successfully able to up his PES to combat fit after recovering and leading a normal life for many years?
