GE is trapped in APAC LCQ

If we look at brackets right now, they have a match against F4Q today which is going to be a crazy matchup. If GE wins here, their next opponent was to come from the loser of match between PRX and Northeption but now its Nuturn cause they lost to Fullsense. I don't know how it's gonna be possible to defeat Nuturn cause their technical game is at the top of the competition. If GE beats both the teams it has to face team from lower round 3. This is going to be crazy to see how the teams contest. But being an Indian and GE fanboy, I'm gonna support GE even if they lose the next match cause this team has the best coordination and strategy in SA region. #GEFighting. May the best team win.

PS: I'm f*cking worried about how its gonna roll.

hot take, GE beating nuturn is actually quite plausible depending on how they play (hyeoni sadly didnt do very good), its mostly PRX and NTH that are trapping GE. But if GE somehow manage to overcome PRX and NTH by snorting some gfuel and the whole team performing, it will be insane.

i think they went into the prx match thinking that they will lose but when they played dk they werent too scared to push, etc. i think they will continue to play hyper aggressive and take sites in one go rather than play on picks, this match is hard for me cause i support both theses teams for this lcq :C

you're right they didn't look very confident. to be honest they were not playing at all like they did against DWG. hopefully the team and shinobi can work with each other because when rossi and hellranger do good, man they do good. i think GE can beat f4q if they play like they did against damwon, and also very plausible like i said against nuturn. NTH/PRX are the real challengers.

in this LCQ , beating PRX almost seems impossible to me , but nghtmare2k ( GE Manager ) said that they are defenitely the best team GE have faced till now , and when he asked the players "What went wrong?" they said that they were not able to punish their plays / strats / executes and ended up treating them with too much respect .

Yeah I guess GE has a good chance of beating both f4q and nuturn......because they almost destroyed damwon gaming and their region kinda plays the same gamestyle and btw GE has defeated Full Sense in scrims that too 13-5 and 13-11 so i guess GE is pretty strong here....The main threat to win this competition for GE is only PaperRed according to me...

scrim results means nothing. Previous alter ego destroy GE in every scrim they played and they are on the same level as full sense.Not sure if any GE player have said that they defeated full sense in a scrim but you dont win scrim with 13-5 score line. They played full 24 rounds in scrim and alter ego destroy GE 20-4 or something.

PREVIOUS alter ego. current alter ego is not as good as the previous one. Scrim results means nothing knowing alter ego trashed GE and GE trashed full sense in their scrim.

I'm guessing GE will be able to at least get past F4Q, they're trying too hard to reinvent themselves with a play style similar to Gambit rather then imitating SEN's play style like they were before Berlin

Beating NU also seems plausible now, especially if Hyeoni has an off day like yesterday, but I think that match will be a lot harder to win and the entire roster has to be popping off (kinda like Full Sense did)

Why not we all knew paper rex are too strong but after defeating damwon i dont think its that hard to beat other teams as paper rex ....i guess only they are on a different level this tournament...all other teams are more or less equal

They did beat Damwon. Before the tournament, I thought PRX, NU are the ones they definitely can't beat and they are at par with second seeds and can beat the others. It turned out that F4Q weren't as good as people expected and KR isn't too dominant over other regions. Now only PRX feels tier ahead of the rest. Beating Nuturn would be very tough though if hyeoni gets back to form.

Hoping them to be at least Top4
Beating PaperRex who's stronger than ever seems nearly imposibble but i think GE can beat F4Q if they play like when they play against DWG
As for Nuturn idk why they attacking side not as good as they used to seems like since they lose Lakia they lost their form
Last but not least for NTH they looking stronger than JP Challenger 3 they can beat Zeta like they did before for sure now
