I've also seen enough already in various esports, and for reference, their biggest esport (LoL) used to have a bigger following in the LCS and LEC than their own (apart from their own big names obviously) like TSM and Bjergsen, FNATIC and Rekkles, etc.

In spain the work days and school days can last until 5 or 6pm due to their siesta tradition. (not including hobbies)
Poorly managed scheduling in Spain people literally cant find time for this game unless they drop out of school or smth

school days do not last until that late unless ur school has classes also in the afternoon which is not that common, the main reason no1 is in the crowd is because its thursday and nobody cares about a geng-prx match in spain

a bit different imo, there should be a good amount of fans from americas or other parts of europe in Madrid, not many people in europe or other first world regions are insane enough to go travel to a shithole like Brazil for a valorant preseason tournament, its also important to note that its early thursday so its completely normal that the crowd isnt packed and there is no school break until next week in Spain/at time of Lock In 2023 it was summer vacation in Brazil so they should have had time if they wanted to show up at the event
