I have genuinely no idea what to think about the teams in this region atm. I feel like most people would still say that Fnatic is the best team, but even as a fan myself, its kinda hard to say that atm when they only played 2 games and lost one. Heretics and KC look insane as well, but is this a case of a good team, or just an insane run? FUT and Giants I thought were good teams but both just got decimated in their group. Liquid I also had decent expectations for but lost to a team that was formed a week before kick-off (granted they beat them earlier but that just leaves more questions). Most regions I can look at and see a storyline coming up on who is going to do well and who isn't, but EMEA I still have so many questions

If you want to be objective, you can't really tell until all the teams plays against each others, it's the first official international tournament of 2024.

Then we will be able to gauge the regions.

Everything here is predictions dude, delusion is saying things that are undeniably false. Kru giants is between 40-60 and 60-40, same with KOI MIBR. I just think it leans MIBR and Kru. What is delusion is thinking KC Loud is a 50-50, given a days prep time LOUD would dismantle the comps KC make because saadhak lmao

KC have engh, they'll be pretty ok because of that. I don't expect either EMEA team to win infact i'd say KC have the 5th highest chances(EDG, SEN, LOUD, PRX) and TH the 7th(genG)

no I am not, I am saying they all have better chances to WIN the event than KC. they all have really good international experience, no team has won an international event without previously qualifying or making one since Gambit in 2021. I think KC can get 3rd at best. LOUD will be better guranteed, and one of EDG/PRX will be better guranteed

I feel like you can say that for a lot of teams though. The only teams where i can confidently say that international lan experience will help them is LOUD, PRX and EDG. The other teams rather dont have that experience (KC, Heretics, FPX), or it has been so long since their last appearance (sentinels, geng) that I don't know whether they will be comfortable again just yet

FNC will be 2nd behind KC when the season begins, Heretics will be a little worse because they are gonna be with woot (net positive long term but you can't expect form to have a 100% retention rate when replacing players) FUT is a good team(14th out of non china in VCT ish), giants is a mid team (around 21, worse than teams like G2)
Liquid will be fine, they'll be good in the regular season and not meet results in internationals like they always do

FUT was literally in the group of death. They were toe-to-toe against both KC and TH but it was just not enough.

Plus, I feel like cNed is still not adapted to the team. He was a big part of FUT's losses, imo

EMEA has a lot of capable rosters at the moment, like current EMEA was alright (imo) but once it comes to champs time and we're fighting for team #4? I could see almost every team in that conversation. In AM for example, I only see Lev, 100T or EG really fighting for that 4th slot - So EMEA going to be so much more hype at that point.

We don't talk about pacific, seeing between DRX and RRQ: who can throw harder to get 5th.

I'm so jealous I won't be able to watch alot of EMEA this year cause of time difference, its the only region that is massively inconvenient to watch for me (like 2am - 5/6am).
